Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Handyman / Handywoman to join our team. As a Handyman / Handywoman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep and functionality of our establishment. If you have a secondary school graduation certificate and possess basic maintenance skills, we encourage you to apply for this full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Performing basic repairs and maintenance tasks in residential or commercial properties.
- Conducting routine inspections to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Fixing or replacing broken fixtures, appliances, or equipment.
- Handling plumbing tasks such as unclogging drains, fixing leaks, or replacing faucets.
- Repairing or replacing electrical components, such as switches, outlets, or light fixtures.
- Patching and painting walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
- Assisting with the installation or floor repairing, including tiles, laminate, or hardwood.
- Assembling and installing furniture, shelves, cabinets, or other fixtures.
- Repairing or replacing damaged doors, windows, locks, or screens.
- Maintaining and repairing outdoor structures, such as fences, decks, or patios.
- Assisting with landscaping tasks, including lawn care, trimming, or gardening.
- Cleaning and organizing work areas and ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Responding to maintenance requests from clients or property owners.
- Collaborating with other professionals, such as plumbers, electricians, or contractors, for complex repairs.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- +1 year of experience (preferred)
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Strong physical stamina and ability to handle tools
- Flexibility to work in physically demanding conditions
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks
- Dependability, good judgment, and reliability
- Proficiency in the English language
- Legally Authorized to Work in Canada

Compensation:
This is a full-time position with a salary. As an employee, you will be eligible for health benefits, including a dental plan, health care plan, and vision care benefits.
