Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Handyman / Handywoman to join our team. As a Handyman / Handywoman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep and functionality of our establishment. If you have a secondary school graduation certificate and possess basic maintenance skills, we encourage you to apply for this full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities:

  1. Performing basic repairs and maintenance tasks in residential or commercial properties.
  2. Conducting routine inspections to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
  3. Fixing or replacing broken fixtures, appliances, or equipment.
  4. Handling plumbing tasks such as unclogging drains, fixing leaks, or replacing faucets.
  5. Repairing or replacing electrical components, such as switches, outlets, or light fixtures.
  6. Patching and painting walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
  7. Assisting with the installation or floor repairing, including tiles, laminate, or hardwood.
  8. Assembling and installing furniture, shelves, cabinets, or other fixtures.
  9. Repairing or replacing damaged doors, windows, locks, or screens.
  10. Maintaining and repairing outdoor structures, such as fences, decks, or patios.
  11. Assisting with landscaping tasks, including lawn care, trimming, or gardening.
  12. Cleaning and organizing work areas and ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
  13. Responding to maintenance requests from clients or property owners.
  14. Collaborating with other professionals, such as plumbers, electricians, or contractors, for complex repairs.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • +1 year of experience (preferred)
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to handle tools
  • Flexibility to work in physically demanding conditions
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks
  • Dependability, good judgment, and reliability
  • Proficiency in the English language
  • Legally Authorized to Work in Canada

Compensation:
