Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team at a well-known Construction Manager Company. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the project management team and ensuring the successful delivery of critical project elements. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager and Superintendents in expediting and completing critical project elements
- Process subcontracts, purchase orders, progress claims, and change orders
- Prepare site documentation and attend site meetings, documenting and distributing meeting minutes
- Contribute to project profitability, schedule adherence, and customer expectations
- Maintain project safety culture and collaborate with the accounting department for accurate project accounting
- Review subcontractor applications for payment
- Live and model the company values in daily work and interactions
- Contribute to all aspects of the project, including profitability, schedule adherence, and customer expectations
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary education in Construction Management or Engineering related discipline
- 2+ years of experience in construction project management or field experience (an asset)
- Familiarity with drawings, contract administration, document management, and scheduling software
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (Procore experience is an asset)
- Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, methods, and procedures
- Strong relationship-building skills and a track record of integrity in client and stakeholder interactions
- Ability to establish positive working relationships with a variety of people
- Experience using MS Project or other project management software
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and remotely
- Legally Authorized to Work in Canada
