Responsibilities:

1. Operate the cash register and process various payment methods, including cash, and credit/debit cards
2. Scan items and calculate the total payment for goods or services
3. Receive payments from customers and provide accurate change
4. Calculate and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales
5. Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized counter area
6. Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
7. Accept reservations or take-out orders as needed
8. Wrap merchandise or place it in bags for customers
9. Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns

Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Previous experience in a restaurant setting is an asset
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Strong mathematical skills for calculating payments and providing change
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and standing for extended periods
• Legally Authorized to Work in Canada
