Job Summary
We are currently hiring a Restaurant Cashier to join our team. As a cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth transactions at our restaurant. Responsibilities:
- Operate the cash register and process various payment methods, including cash, and credit/debit cards
- Scan items and calculate the total payment for goods or services
- Receive payments from customers and provide accurate change
- Calculate and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales
- Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized counter area
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Accept reservations or take-out orders as needed
- Wrap merchandise or place it in bags for customers
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is an asset
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Strong mathematical skills for calculating payments and providing change
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and standing for extended periods
- Legally Authorized to Work in Canada

Compensation:
