Job Summary
We are currently hiring for the position of Administrative Assistant temporarily. At this position, you will provide essential administrative and business support services to Highway Operations Management Branch managers and staff. This role requires strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a customer-service-focused approach.
Responsibilities:
- In this role, you will be responsible for various administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include providing word processing services, composing routine correspondence, preparing reports and presentations, greeting visitors, and maintaining electronic and hard copy filing systems. Additionally, you will work collaboratively within an administrative support team to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:

To qualify for this position, you should have a solid understanding of administrative practices and possess knowledge in areas such as mail sorting, filing systems, and office supplies management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial, as you will be working closely with staff and providing excellent customer service. Proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and databases is required, along with the ability to handle complex features within these applications. Excellent organizational and time management skills are also necessary to effectively prioritize tasks and work as part of a team. Legally Authorized to Work in Canada.
